By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Whatman Hardwoods if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Netherlands. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Lead Time

Our products are “Made to Order” only. Because our pieces are made to order and made by hand one at a time, your order will ship by freight approximately 6-8 weeks after payment is received. This timeline is only approximate and can vary. If you have a specific deadline for the items you are purchasing, please notify us prior to making your purchase.

Shipping

We cover a base shipping fee that provides free shipping in the Eastern Time Zone (except New York City, the Burroughs, and other metro areas).  To cover the additional shipping costs for locations outside this shipping zone, a shipping fee will be applied at checkout. Please keep in mind the carrier only delivers to your destination and is not obligated to assist in “off-loading” the product. Your delivery will include lift gate service.

Our shipping only includes the cost of the shipping and not any “extra fees” the carrier would deem as extra services that you request. If you have any additional requests, these additional charges need to be set up with us in advance and paid by the customer before the shipment of the order is made. If you have questions or need a quote for a different area, please contact us.

If you are around the Bellville, Ohio area, you are more than welcome to pick your order up at our workshop and receive a price reduction. Contact us for pricing and pick-up information.

Conditions of Return

Returns are accepted provided that the customer

  • Contacts us within 3 days of delivery and
  • Ships items back within 14 days of delivery

Exchanges or cancellations are not accepted
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.

Custom or personalized orders can not be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Return Shipping
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, Whatman Hardwoods shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Whatman Hardwoods shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Whatman Hardwoods shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
